"The Republicans are for God, Country and family...
and the Democrats are for me, me me. We will be a more socialist country. They will want to always justify their different lifestyles and there will be more school shootings. There will be more pornography and they are for anything immoral. Democrats don't have a cause and it really scares me."--Idiot republican caller

This was in response to question on cspan (last friday)what would happen if the Democrats win back the house or the senate.

1. Whaaa? He contradicts himself...
If the Dems are for me me me, then they wouldn't be for socialism, would they? Socialism is about putting the groups needs above self interest.

4. Probably doesn't know what 'socialism' means..
He probably thinks it's a devotion to school shootings and pornography.

Hell, this idiot caller probably doesn't know what "me, me, me" means, otherwise he wouldn't be speaking out against it.

5. Which explains why these kids all kill each other with Hustler Magazine
in liberal Enclaves like Marin; as opposed to easily accessible firearms in right-wing Conservative Christian GOP strongholds like Littleton.

7. That's what the preachers have been telling them
When religion starts to interfere with the state, or when the state interferes with religion, bad things happen to people. Some, like the caller, get stupid. Others get persecuted.

It looks like projection because this poor sap simply hasn't been informed by the preacher, CBN or Pox News (the only approved sources) that the GOP has become so completely corrupt that the only way to save the democratic experiment is to keep them out of government for a very long time, followed by corrupt Democrats.

The idiot still believes the GOP is the instrument for creating Paradise on earth by enslaving women, pushing blacks back into cotton fields, forcing sensible people to give lip service to their lunacy, and pushing the rest of the world around to do their will until the rest of the world gets mad enough to cause Armageddon and the few righteous white folks (all Americans) will get raptured up into the sky.

At least the majority are waking up. Dopes like that one will be pushed back to the lunatic fringe, I hope, before they have a chance to start creating their notion of Paradise. The rest of us wouldn't like it.

9. The Republicans are for power, greed, and totalitarianism, Bush-style,
for the welfare of large corporations and the most affluent, not the promote the general welfare doctrine, and for sprinkling $billions welfare on partisan contractors: everything 'pukes say, with little exception, is a big lie.

11. Hmmm check out this LTTE
Editor, Times-Dispatch: I have read a number of letters in which the writers stated that they had always voted Republican, but will not in this election. As a longtime Republican, I will honestly say there are many things about the current administration and Congress that I wish were different -- but I cannot allow those differences to force me to vote socialist.

The Republican Party represents capitalism, but before one equates capitalism with Bill Gates and Warren Buffett, remember that the people who cut grass, repair houses, and sell cars or groceries are also capitalists. They believe their capabilities and sense of self-worth will enable them to provide for themselves and their families.

The socialist core constituency is made up of people who have so little self-worth that they must have a paternalistic government to take care of them. Of course, there are the social elitists, the Hollywood types, and the media and Democrat politicians who believe only they know what is best for the rest of us.

Socialism always destroys the middle class, and always fails after it has destroyed a country. Let's not deprive our children and grandchildren of the wonderful opportunities we have had because of fear and ignorance. Vote Republican! Robert W. Parker. ashland.

17. Actually, it's the exact opposite.
Democrats understand the true message of the Bible - help others less fortunate than you.
Repukes don't care about anybody other than themselves.

Repukes hate this country; they're constantly trying to undermine the Constitution and Bill of Rights, and cheat on elections.

Family values? Hate ain't a family value, Repukes! Family values means making sure the middle class can make it, not covering up for child predators, giving everybody healthy care and a decent wage, etc. etc. etc.

18. And they really think that people are that stupid.
Abortions will go up if the Democrats take the House. Especially partial birth abortions, I mean, everyone wants one. I want to coddle a terrorist, and have a partial birth abortion while I am watching pornography and attacking Christmas.
