So let the Dem's win 8 or 10 seats, then no one will ask questions about it...The republican owned corporate media will use Rove/WH talking points that will be fed to them, that people decided to stay with republicans because they feel safer with them in power in the war on terrorism...

And the Republicans will still control congress and Bush's fascism will continue at full speed ahead....

Oh, and as always, the republicans will pretend that they heard the Americans voice of discontent & unhappiness and the republicans "better produce" this time or they won't be there in 2008, etc. etc. All bullshit, for image as the republicans continue to steal election after election.

We need a huge Democratic turnout and we will have a chance to offset their machines. We need strong Dem voter turnout. Encourage everyone to get out and vote.

As for Diebold... first of all not all of the major in play states use Diebold (there was a thread/post on this here within the last few days but I don't have time to look it up right now). Is there a chance an election or two might be stolen, there's always a "chance" however I'll be damned if I'd go down without doing my best to get out and VOTE anyway because my vote is a major part of my political voice.

The thing to keep in mind is that the bigger the vote count difference is between two candidates the harder it is to "fudge" (whether with Diebold or other) so the best weapon we have to fight against such a thing is to get out and VOTE and help others do the same who may need a ride or a nudge.

The stealing of past elections and nobody doing anything about it has made me very paranoid about future elections. If your state has a republican Secretary of State, pay attention...there no way to check the machines, it only takes one machine and 90 seconds to be hacked controlling a series of machines in that precinct and the republican SoS of course will look the other way?

Whoever a hacked machine says is the winner, that person becomes the winner, no way to check, the hacked machine, it can be reversed, whatever, if it favors the republican tha state Repug SoS will certify it...
