2. Here are a couple of BBC links
http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/shared/spl/hi/middle_east/02/iraq_support/html/europe/img1.stm

Prime Minister Tony Blair has been President Bush's most supportive European ally on this issue.

In the face of opposition from his own cabinet and party he has said that the UK would back military action against Iraq without a new UN resolution. snip

In January, the UK announced the deployment of 35,000 troops to the Gulf region.

There will be 500 fewer UK soldiers in Iraq after a shake-up due next month, Defence Secretary John Reid has said.

He told MPs that the latest routine rotation of UK troops would leave 8,000 soldiers in Iraq - but he said the move was "relatively minor".

The UK must stay in Iraq "until the job is done", he said.

4. They were down to 8,000 2 years ago
Currently there are 8,000 British troops in the 14,000-strong 'multinational division' in southern Iraq, which has responsibility for about 4.5 million people.

5. "Suck Up Blair" got the hell out and left the scraps on the Chimp's plate
for him to deal with.

Blair is as disgusting to me as Bush. It makes me sad that GB hasn't tossed his sorry behind out!
