So if Cindy wins the Nobel Peace Prize tomorrow...
Edited on Thu Oct-12-06 09:53 PM by KyndCulture
wouldn't monkey ass HAVE to call her to congratulate her? Since he calls sports teams... An American Nobel Prize winner seems to require a call from the pretzeldent.

And boy howdy would I like to be a fly on the phone to hear THAT phone call.

1. So would I, but I bet he won't call her. And if he's asked about it
in a press conference, he'll probably give a lot more "uh uh uh's" than he usually does when he's asked a question he doesn't like.

Gee, what a fearless leader, eh?

2. He doesn't have the guts....he is a coward.....he does not
defend all Americans especially those that do not agree with him...

If she wins I hope it's like a Pretzel going down side ways....

6. My money's on "no". Remember--he's the decider.
And I'm betting he'll decide that the Nobel Peace Prize is bogus (sort of like the Johns Hopkins report on Iraqi deaths). Ot more likely he's thinking it's the "Noble Prize" and that he should get it, what with that Noble War of his and all.

7. Let's Be Honest Here. It Ain't Gonna Happen.
I'm damn proud of her for even being nominated though and think that's a hell of a thing to lay claim to. I'd love it if she won as well, and could only imagine the level of rage freepers would feel, but we must admit her chances of being chosen are pretty much slim to none right?

12. I think people tend to win who put their lives on the line
like Nelson Mandela, the woman in SE Asia who was under house arrest for years, etal. But then again, who knows, she could win.

9. Disagree..
just because the Nobel people love to stick sand down the underwear of anyone they perceive as a repressive regime. We are probably talking a Peace Prize to the first outspoken critic of Bush who is recognized to be an irritant....the Swedes are perverse that way-if it was as a literature prize I would have doubts....

13. It's the Norwegians who decide the Peace Prize. Odd, that.
All the other prizes are decided in Sweden.

15. It's not the Swedes who decide for the Nobel Peace Prize;
It's the Norwegians. All the other Nobel Prizes are decided by the Swedes. Alfred Nobel never Did Explain the one exception.

22. So what's your point?
Just because the Norwegians decide is no reason to think Bush wouldn't nuke Sweden. He doesn't exactly use common sense in choosing his military targets... :)

19. Bu$h would rather have eaten dirt than congratulate Carter.
I would lay big money on the shithead ignoring Carter's peace prize.

Especially since it was spun as a direct slap to the chimperor.

Frankly, I can't see the peace prize committee going this route twice. They'll go with someone else but it would be very sweet if Cindy were picked. She is honored to have gotten this far though. I am proud to call myself a Cindy supporter.
