Please retire. You made some decent pop music in your career, we’ll grant you that. The time has come, however, for you to step out of the public eye. We, the people, are sick of your causes, your self-promotion, your marketing, your use of charity to further your own career and legacy.

We are sick of seeing your face on everything, every time we turn on the TV, read the paper, or turn on the radio.
