Most conference attendees are investors, renewable-energy advocates or representatives of agribusiness groups that stand to benefit from the emergence of renewable fuels. One protestor, shouting, “Oil is not renewable, out of Iraq now!” was hustled from the hall as the audience applauded Bush’s remarks. The president did not interrupt his speech during the incident. http://www.dfw.com/mld/dfw/business/15744305.htm

It is available at numerous online outlets as a poster. However, I am much more interested in Kipniss and Chegall for my new studio and gallery. That's the good thing about being 58 with sterling credit and no debt. I can go out on a limb for this art trip!

|
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.
This and every instance in which a politician uses police or any other method to silence a protestor should be subject to challenge in the courts, and should be so challenged. "Creating a public disturbance" ain't in it; when free speech is abridged, and the purpose of the speech was to petition the government for a redress of wrongs, there should be no silencing of this speech, BY LAW.

A woman is escorted from the hall after standing up and chanting, 'Out of Iraq now, Soldiers are not renewable' as President Bush spoke at a conference on Renewable Energy Thursday, Oct. 12, 2006, in St. Louis. Bush warned Americans on Thursday against becoming complacent about supporting alternative sources of energy just because gasoline prices are falling at the pump. (AP Photo/Tom Gannam)

"Bush warned Americans on Thursday against becoming complacent about supporting alternative sources of energy just because gasoline prices are falling at the pump."
Hahahahahaha. * concerned about the environment? Yeah, right...this is the same president who installed anti-environment Mike Leavitt as head of the Environmental Protection Agency.
Well, there was no gun being held to *'s head during this speech, so the only alternative is that he's now invested a fortune in oil companies that have invested in alternative energy.
