Democratic Leader State by State Bush's Tax Cuts

Democrats have long fought for middle-income tax cuts. This is in stark contrast to Republican tax breaks for the super rich that have led to a budget that is grossly out of balance and a national debt that is morally indefensible.

Democrats are offering a New Direction to provide real tax help to hard-pressed families, which will inject demand into our economy ,spur economic growth that will produce jobs, and reduce the deficit , and we will do it in a fiscally responsible way.
