It's So Obvious Bush Is Being Prompted Via His Ear Bug --------->>>>
It is PATENTLY obvious - he's not even trying to hide it. I'd so love to know who's prompting him. Karen? Dick?

See how he says unnhh, looks down, stutters. He's listening to his earphone.

2. Can you imagine how clueless he would sound w/o them?
I think there should be a law against not allowing follow-up questions. Reporter asks question, he replies with complete bullshit that may not even address the question and then moves on to the next reporter. Rinse. Repeat.

This is a show to pretend that we are in a democracy. Pitiful how complicit in the lie the press are. Shameful.

answers, and they just let him get away with it.

Remember a few years ago CNN's John King was reporting on comments the chimp was making in France and you could actually hear the voice feeding him his lines? King looked embarrassed and just sort of rolled his eyes.

That's not his language - and you can see him listening as the line's being fed. He was in trouble and they bailed him out with that answer. The NPR reporter asked if that was a fair way to talk about the Democrats and he rambled until someone pitched him the line that "a date certain"="cut and run"

50. I recall one of his press conferences a couple of years ago,
He came walking down the hall toward the podium like royalty and then the usual banal comments ensued. The last questioner asked Bush if he could tell them what he thought was the worst mistake he had made as president. It was so obvious, what with the mess going on in Iraq.

However Bush just stood there awkwardly for about a minute, perhaps trying to find something he could say that would not be too revealing. Finally he just mumbled something about not being able to think of any mistakes. He turned then and slowly walked back down the hall looking so defeated. It was a telling moment for all of us who saw it.

I believe it was after that fiasco that he began wearing the bug in his ear. As to his mental acuity, he must have been smarter in his youth to get an MBA from Harvard, even with Poppy's influence. Personally I think it was all the years he was a drunk that killed off so many of his brain cells. He became the perfect puppet for some clever puppet master to manipulate. Cheney and his buddies that is.

51. Agreed, but why such lame answers?
I listened to him on the radio this morning, and couldn't help noticing the phrasing and pauses. It seemed completely possible to me that he was getting his lines through an ear piece.

I think that he has gotten pretty good at parroting the lines he's fed... a bit like simultaneous translation. If you listen to him, the pauses between
phrases are about the same length as the line he delivers next.

But as my daughter said when I brought this up, " if it's true, why are his answers still so lame?"
