CNN's Schneider does Election Machine Report. Election will be Close
Edited on Tue Oct-10-06 03:58 PM by KoKo01
like Florida. People worried about voting machines (he does a few interviews about machine problems and poorly trained poll workers) but finishes it off with saying "voters need to be educated before they go to the polls." He then smirked it up saying teasingly "Wolf, could this be another Florida where it's so close we won't know until AFTER election day?"

Well, we've been warned. And, he even went so far as to insinuate it could be so close that Lieberman would be the tie-breaker along with Cheney as to which way the Senate goes if it's "close."

CNN interviewing Condi, and have Brazille and J.C. Watts on as commentators ...plus playing down FoleyGate and having Howie Kurtz on showing different Repug candidates responses to "possibly unfair" Foley Attack ads by Dems...are showing that it's REPUG STRIKE BACK DAY. Bushies getting too low in the polls and CNN's gotta give him a little kick back.

Schneider's warning so far ahead of election day is something we need to concentrate on, though.... After all he's in a position to "KNOW" what's being planned. :-(

1. Schneider is stooping to political hackery here.
Few people are saying that it's going to be close. Those who do say it are using outdated models which are not going to apply to this election cycle.

Ask Mr. Schneider how many Democrats will likely lose their seat next month. If he's honest, he'll have to say *zero*. When was the last time that happened? The closest race is NJ-Sen, and no prognosticators are willing to call it as leaning towards Kean. No Dem-held House seat is even that close.

Schneider's spinning here. Don't believe him.

13. Let's see 460-some races. Which do we rig?

There's 60-70 House races in play. Do the Repukes feel lucky enough in all those districts with Democratic Secys of State and all those honest election commissioners?

If you are worried about this. Get busy. Put people on the ground on election day. Poll workers. Poll watchers. Official media witnesses. Lawyers with boilerplates in hand--just fill in the blanks. Work GOTV--my choice.

You don't need permission from the Dem Party to do this.

2. Shorter Schneider: "Please, Republican voters, don't stay home!"
"By us telling you it will be close, you'll have the incentive to come out and vote!"

7. bump to that
it begins with a 'close election'. Easy to steal the vote if it is "Close".

One thing I have pondered, over the past few years, is just how is it that bill schneider pulls the bush shit out from within his ear cannels? Does that not hurt abit? Perchance, he is Sadistic.?

11. Sometimes he seems "very, very good" and the rest of the time...he's
VERY BAD. His smirking and pumping...after all these years...does cause some questions. Bushies Polls in the toilet and Schneider tells us the election could be another "2000!" GASP...he had to know that CNN's viewers who remember "Bush vs Gore" would fall on the floor over that One! :shrug;

All our MEDIA is CONTROLLED...in one way or the other...if one recognizes that then one can understand how they swing "just a teensy" towards Dems and when Bush Polls go TOO LOW...they SWING BACK...

It's from long observation that many DU'ers who've been here for years would verify..
