How come bombshells never turn out to be bombshells?
It's a term bandied about quite often here and they usually end up being duds.

It's truly amazing, first torture, then Woodward, then Foley, now Korea. Sheez it's hard to keep up!

2. Because "our" bombshells are not that of the regular populace -
it's true. The most important things, the big stuff that threaten our rights and diminish the Constitution seem boring to most Americans. It takes a sex scandal to wake people up and force change. Kinda pathetic, no?
