Allowing Erosion Of Liberties Removes Incentive F/ Bush To Protect Us
If Bush is allowed to use terrorist threats as a reason to amass more power for himself and his office, what incentive does he have to STOP terrorist threats?

If every time an act of terrorism happens, we give up more civil liberties and give the Executive office more power, it seems obvious that allowing terrorism to happen is profitable for the sitting Executive.

Especially when the person occupying the Executive position and the people in the Administration around him are all on record WANTING more exective power as a matter of principle.

Isn't this kind of a simple to understand point?
