So maybe it shouldn't be much surprise that Reynolds wanted to avoid a debate scheduled for this morning on ABC's This Week.

According to the Associated Press: "Booked weeks ago for ABC's This Week, (Reynolds) confirmed his appearance on Wednesday. By Saturday, his office canceled without explanation and arranged for a substitute guest, Rep. Adam Putnam (R-FL), a network spokeswoman said."

Later, a spokesman said Reynolds wasn't feeling well.

I wouldn't either, if I was in as big a mess as Reynolds.

and did nothing for the Republicans. Some spokesman.

2. he was able to repeat the latest talking point

that hastert asked foley to resign, even though that contradicts what hastert originally said, or the timeline as confirmed by ABC News.
