I really did love Aunt Clara. She was probably my favorite of Samantha's relatives. As for Bush*, apparently his own cousins have publicly stated that they don't support him, and this was a few years ago!

I remember thinking I was hallucinating the first time I saw one of them winking at me...

The first one has been winking and sticking his tongue out for quite awhile now. My friend, another DUer who's better at this than I am, did that for me. And a few weeks ago I was offered a puppy from a girl who used to work for me vet who was helping to foster him and remembered my Meneken. The puppy is, inexplicably, also rescue. I adopt older animals, like my little guy, who was nine. But you can see why I couldn't resist him. He's only six months old, and can be a little terror, but he's so cute that you can't get mad at him. He means well, and is very good, for a puppy. His name is Jack. I just wish that the worst thing that he got up to was making faces at me...
