Political statement on "Million Dollar Listing"

Last night, my husband and I were watching "Million Dollar Listing" on Bravo.

If you haven't caught the show, it's a reality-based program on way-cool, high-end
properties being sold in the Malibu and Hollywood areas. Lots of drama and really
great houses.

Anyhoo--last night, a man was selling his Malibu house and he was leaving the country
for Mexico.

This is not a political show, AT ALL. I've never heard one political comment, which
is why I was shocked (and also validated) when the seller said, "Yep. I'm outta here.
I'm leaving the country. After Bush stole the 2004 election, I said, 'It's time to get
out of this country." He talked about how he loved America, but he hated the government.

Then he said that he found it shocking and hypocritical that "Bush would actually go on
national television and proclaim that my lifestyle was more sinful than his." The guy
had this "as if" expression on his face.

I was just so happy to hear and see this. It was totally out of left field. This is
a television show about high-end California real estate!

I'm sad to hear people voice these concerns--and leave the country--but I don't feel
so alone when others express the same feelings. I thought others might find the
comments interesting--to say the least.

Boyoboy, I hope we actually do take control of the Senate and House! Thanks for sharing, I think this is one of the signs of good things to come next month.

What network is this show on? Can I get it on satelite? I'd love to see if I can get it on reruns.

3. It's on Bravo....

I Tivo'd this episode!

My husband is the tech geek. I'll see if I can get him to
put up the clips of this guy's Bush rants--on DU.

4. I also noticed that he had some anti-Bush

signs and stuff in the background.

5. That was a rerun from awhile back. They are also running shows

saying the bubble has burst.

They portrayed him as a nut case and a dirty home owner. I was furious!

That wife on the show reminds me of the plastic ssurgery addicted Cat-Woman.
