9. Bush to welcome NK to the Nuclear Nations Club.
In a magnanimous show of waiving to the reality on the ground, echoing Sen. Majority Leader Frist's comments on the Taliban, Bush is set to suggest to the world that NK has too many nuclear weapons for Coalition forces to be able to destroy them, and consequently NK should be admitted to the Nuclear Nations Club and considered for a permanent seat on the Security Council.

19. don't have to flip a coin - just follow the "logic"
we attacked Iraq because there were no targets in "afghanistan" (where Bin-Laden/al-qeada reside)

given the N. Korean nuke test - bush will be announcing he is attacking Iran

He will express the need to take this to the UN Security Council for "aggressive action" and will suggest John Bolten be given rapid approval as US Ambassador to the UN.

Then he will remind us of the great gas prices and the health of the economy.

58. when chertoff took over
he said he would not be using the terror alert colors anymore, but he didn't say what it would replace the colors

I decided to use fabrics:

old system / new system

green / flannel
blue / terry cloth
yellow / chenille
orange / gingham
red / argyle

Edited on Mon Oct-09-06 08:58 AM by Solly Mack
while waiting, lots of speculation by "reporters"

"will this spark a nuclear arms race" "will other countries now follow suit"

and asking if it's been "verified" and "how" (spy planes, seismic results)

CNN saying Bush knew in advance...but he couldn't do anything

trying to eliminate blame from himself right away, he knows that he has a huge responsibility in this. He has bullied them, refuses to talk with them and threatens them. But now he is completely an innocent bystandard, never provoking anything.
