| Haven't heard a peep out of foley. Where are they hiding him? |
|
I'll bet he's in a bad way, seeing as how he is the single individual who drove a stake into the heart of the GOP. I don't buy the rehab for alcoholism, I bet he's hiding from the republicans, not just the press.
I'd hate to be him. Just think of the hatred aimed at him from his former buddies. Just think of what is going through this jerks head.
I bet he's scared shitless. Receiving death threats, real ones, threats he knows can be backed up. He's looking at prison too possibly, and trials, and a life of ridicule and shame, and worst of all, he's going to lose all those lovely boys and all that lovely money and power.
Are they hiding him, or is he hiding from them? Will he take others down with him? Does he know where the bodies are? This sick story is only beginning.

| 1. That's what happens when you think you're untouchable. As did Tom |

DeLay.
They may support their colleague's crimes but only until they become common knowledge. They they turn.

He won't be around much longer - too many people would like to see him die... horribly.

|
to make sure that he says what they want him to say. I have a feeling he knows a lot of dirt on a lot of people, and he may not want to be the only fall guy.

| 6. Not that this is specific as to where he might be, but Limbaugh |
|
was here in Northeast Nebraska for his rehab. I foound out from someone close, but until his release, I felt it ethical to keep it under wraps. I can't stand Limbaugh, but there are ethical issues involved in certain circumstances.
My guess he is in some out of the way facility. He may be able to beat his alcohol problem, but there are issues of a deeper problem here that are far tougher to come to grips with. I could care less about his sexual orientation, it is the fact that 15-16 yo's were involved, and there lies the seriousness of the situation. No matter how they try to spin this, legal age in juridiction, consensual, etc...the fact remains, these were minors. Foley had power, both real and implied, this makes him a predator. I won't say he is a pedophile in the classic sense, but he is a predator; that is a difficult situation to breach to come to terms with on a personal basis.

...criminal behavior. Marc Foley should be in jail and most certainly under arrest.

| 9. I agree...there is no way he should be able to blame his behavior on |
|
anything or anyone else but himself. This is not to say that addictions aren't controlling, but before one becomes addicted is the time to seek out treatment, albeit that is pretty much a lost cause.
What he did was criminal, (my POV), no matter how it is spun, he deserves to be tried and if found guilty of criminal behavior, he should be locked up. Few things fire up people more than messing with kids, even if they are older kids. The key is, what would someone have done if this was their child, and the predator wasn't in congress?
The way this has blown up, if Foley isn't on suicide watch, I'd be surprised. If he truly does get off the booze, and the mask is removed, the blame for his actions can fall nowhere else but upon his shoulders. The damage this has done to not just Foley, but the House and R's in particular is incredible; he is most likely a very desperate individual.

| 13. They told him to STFU and keep the hell out of sight. |
|
And by all means keep the hell away from cameras and microphones.
They figure by bringing down the GOP at election time he's done enough damage already.

Under the cellar stairs at camp David?
Would you believe, over the garage at Neverland Ranch?
I don't know, but as soon as he's released, he's scheduled to begin a private plane pilot course: the excellerated course.
