They won't tell him why. He has an Irish name - fairly common - so figures it has something to do with N. Ireland. But holy cow, there must be thousands of people with his name. Are they all on the list? And how do you get off? No one will say.

my husband is in the same boat as your friend, it ain't worth your life to have a common name, and yeah they are "all" on it, every time my husbsnd is cleared because it is so obvious he is not the person by this name who is wanted there is some comment made that leads us to believe he is not even close to the physical description of the bad guy who used this name

we were given a form to fill out to complain that he has been placed on the list but we were told it wouldn't do any good (very apologetically)

customs and tsa think this is as stupid and shitty as you think it is, yes, we experience serious delays every time we travel because of this, but their job is being screwed up EVERY SINGLE DAY because of this crap
