At least 37 GOP seats in Congress could be vulnerable

WASHINGTON -- Aided by public revulsion over an Internet sex scandal, Democrats enter the final month of the campaign well-positioned to challenge for control of Congress, while Republicans increasingly express concern about holding on to power.

Democratic candidates are in competitive races for seven Republican-held seats in the Senate and 30 or more in the House, polls show.

Members of the leadership in the House and Senate are among the Republicans in jeopardy -- Sen. Rick Santorum in Pennsylvania and Rep. Deborah Pryce in Ohio -- as Democrats look for major gains in the Northeast and Midwest.

'I was dumbfounded'

Members of both parties have started airing ads referencing the scandal.

Others also vulnerable

3. voting machines
Don't forget about all the malfunctioning voting machines that are out there and nothing has been done about them! It was on the news quite a few times on Lou Dobb's show, for one.
