"Missouri Senate: Talent, McCaskill One Point Apart"

Claire McCaskill shakes hands with Bill Clinton

http://www.rasmussenreports.com/2006/State%20Polls/Octo...

It's going down to the wire in Missouri. Democratic State Auditor Claire McCaskill now leads Republican Senator Jim Talent by a single percentage point, 44% to 43%...

...No matter how we look at it, this race is way too close to call. Thirty-three percent (33%) are certain they'll vote for Talent. For McCaskill, it's 31% certain.

Additionally, this race may play a key role in determining which political party ends up in control of the U.S. Senate.

If you're only going to donate for one US Senate race this year, this should probably be the one:

1. Oh, jeez! If ONLY she can win against that monster.
Claire McCaskill would be a FINE Senator, whereas Jim Talent is an aggressive right-wing scum, following in the footsteps of John Ashcroft, another Missouri Republican politician.

3. She did well on MTP
She was really good on MTP this morning. Really had the issues in hand, and spoke from her heart. No-Talent kept repeating the same old Repuke talking points.
