2. North Korea
If their nukes work as well as their missiles, the results might destroy all the equipment they have along with all their scientists. I bet the beloved leader is far away from the site. IMHO there are more worrisome things for us then North Korea.

5. I hope it isn't near any fault lines
The underground tests the US performed, especially in AK, caused literally thousands of earthquakes. Not the greatest of ideas, to put it lightly. Then there's contamination concerns. And all that's in the best case scenario of the pit holding the explosion. Some of the ones at the Nevada Test Site breached ground level and sent unexpected radioactive debris scattering for miles.
