in an urban area. Though there is flight Museum down the way, there is no air show scheduled, and the jets were headed in a different direction.

They've been pretty active in the wars, they fly c130's the big cargo ships. I used to see them flying training missions, they must be gone again I haven't seen them for a while, but i have heard jets coming in low and slow, big ones, I'm wondering if they've switched over or if the base has become a refueling stop?

Those fast lowflying jets are much noisier and get your attention especially since the other planes are gone.

They do drive-bys whenever Bush or Cheney turn up for a fund raiser, so maybe there's a GOP begathon going on nearby?
