Friend from N.O. related this story about Shrub from Christmas...

I spoke with my friend from New Orleans today. He shared a story about Shrub that a customer of his had recently told him. This customer is a member of the well-known New Orleans' band, Deacon John. Deacon John was invited to perform at the White House over Christmas, and to dinner afterwards. After they performed, Bush came over to greet the band. Most of the band members are black. So here comes Shrub, to greet them, and he bellows, 'Happy Hannukah!'. The band members are looking at one another going 'What?'. One of them pipes up, to Shrub, 'Happy Heineken to you!'

After much discussion among themselves, what they think Shrub was trying to say to them was, 'Happy Kwanzaa', but as usual, got it mixed-up.

I also remember a story I read from an interview with the singer Charlotte Church when she met Bush. According to her Bush didn't know where Wales was (which is where Church is from) and she told how she met Clinton once and he was very lovely and was on top of things (locations etc).

thinks black people as a race celebrate Hannukah? That would be funny if it wasn't so scary. I'll give him the benefit of the doubt, though, and assume that he was shit-faced and got Hanukkah confused with Kwanzaa - although making the assumption that a black person automatically celebrates Kwanzaa is a stretch, too.

I've never in my life met anyone who even comes close to being as much of a moron and dumbass as *. He's in a league of his own.
