Diebold Added Secret Patch to Georgia E-Voting Systems in 2002
(APN) ATLANTA – Top Diebold corporation officials ordered workers to install secret files to Georgia's electronic voting machines shortly before the 2002 Elections, at least two whistleblowers are now asserting, Atlanta Progressive News has learned.

Former Diebold official Chris Hood told his story concerning the secret "patch" to Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., for Kennedy's second article on electronic voting in this week's Rolling Stone Magazine.

Hood's claims corroborate a second whistleblower who spoke with Black Box Voting and Wired News in 2003.

Whistleblower Accounts

"With the primaries looming, Urosevich was personally distributing a 'patch,' a little piece of software designed to correct glitches in the computer program," Rolling Stone Magazine reported.

"We were told that it was intended to fix the clock in the system, which it didn't do," Hood told Rolling Stone. "The curious thing is the very swift, covert way this was done."

"It was an unauthorized patch, and they were trying to keep it secret from the state," Hood told Rolling Stone.

"We were told not to talk to county personnel about it. I received instructions directly from Urosevich. It was very unusual that a president of the company would give an order like that and be involved at that level," Hood told Rolling Stone.

The "patch" was applied to about 5,000 polling places in Fulton and DeKalb Counties in 2002, Rolling Stone reported.

2. The majority of this country do NOT agree with how its being run
It appears, the Bushbot minority ramrodded their minority will on the majority. Diebold promised it would come through for the W.

going into the election and projected BY ALL to easily win re-election. Cleland's loss was considered by some to be a statisical impossibility, and by others to be just another rethuglican electoral miracle.

8. So THAT's what happened to Max Cleland's 5-point lead.
It's a good bet that's also what happened to a lot of other good officials, like Cynthia McKinney.

10. It's interesting to note the the two Senators up for re-election that
would have probably been the biggest thorns in bushco*'s side, just happened to be eliminated. Cleland through a shady election and Paul Wellstone, in a small plane.

In March of 2004 I was on a plane going from Salt Lake City to Anchorage. The guy sitting next to me wearing expensive clothing and watch was desperately trying to engage me a conversation. The first part of the conversation was about his CHRISTIANITY, his conversion from a hard street life to the Lord, how the Lord had blessed him so abundantly blah blah. Oh yeah and he was just so proud of the fact that Sonny Purdue worshiped at the same church and that a few weeks back Saxby Chambliss attended a service. A very proud repuke he was.

But then he started drinking pretty heavily and he started to get sloppy and tell me things I am sure he wishes he never said. He was on his way to Alaska for a contract job dealing with computers. Hmm interesting because from his Jesus talk he had been a street punk prior to Gods blessings and he had only been in the church 4 years. Hmm wonder where he learned computers and also found God? So I pretended to be really interested in this clown and then he really opened up. Well he found both in the same place...JAIL!

Apparently the mega church he belongs to has strong ties to the prison system in Georgia. Yes he was coming from Georgia. So I get off the plane but not before he asks if I will accept the Lord oh and go to his hotel with him. (I was traveling with my then 3 year old daughter!)

When I get to my hotel I buy a copy of Vanity Fair, you remember the one with BEV HARRIS on the cover. The April 2004 edition? I read with interest and then I stumble upon a picture. It is him Rob Behler(sp) the guy next to me on the plane and the subject of the ROB GEORGIA file and the Diebold shenanigans in Georgia.

Interesting to me because there was a hotly contested election coming to AK for the governors seat that fall. Obviously Rob was in AK to do for Murkowski what he had done for Purdue.

So these thieving GOP Cons go into jails and they find smart thieves with some hacking skills and they set them up with more cash than they have ever seen and send them off to work. Rob was about 36 and probably older than most but he must have been good. In his stupor he also told me he once was addicted to meth and got pretty good breaking and entering. I guess he did.

That is what happened to Max and Cynthia in Georgia. They got ROBBED.

Despite going to church and talking about it a lot, the sulferous crowd you describe represent the most evil and foul to ever walk the earth. What they have done goes beyond treason.

Black Box Voting

Two voting companies & two brothers will count 80 percent of U.S. election using both scanners & touchscreens

April 28, 2004—Voters can run, but they can't hide from these guys. Meet the Urosevich brothers, Bob and Todd. Their respective companies, Diebold and ES&S, will count (using both computerized ballot scanners and touchscreen machines) about 80 percent of all votes cast in the upcoming U.S. presidential election.

Both ES&S and Diebold have been caught installing uncertified software in their machines. Although there is no known certification process that will protect against vote rigging or technical failure, it is a requirement of most, if not all, states.

And, according to author Bev Harris in her book, Black Box Voting, " . . . one of the founders of the original ES&S (software) system, Bob Urosevich, also oversaw development of the original software now used by Diebold Election Systems."

Talk about putting all our eggs in one very bogus, but brotherly basket.

Even if states or counties hire their own technicians to re-program Diebold or ES&S software (or software from other companies), experts say that permanently installed software, called firmware, still resides inside both electronic scanners and touchscreen machines and is capable of manipulating votes. For those who are unfamiliar with the term “firmware,” here's a definition by BandwidthMarket.com: "Software that is embedded in a hardware device that allows reading and executing the software, but does not allow modification, e.g., writing or deleting data by an end user."

The ability to rig an election is well within easy reach of voting machine companies. And it does not matter if the machines are scanners or touchscreens, or are networked or hooked up to modems.

So, for those states and counties who think they're dodging the bullet by not buying (or not using) the highly insecure and error-prone touchscreen voting machines (which will process 28.9 percent of all votes this year), a huge threat still remains—computerized ballot scanners. They will count 57.6 percent of all votes cast, including absentee ballots.

These Urosevich are Christian Reconstructionists or Dominionists...whatever, they feel like they're annointed to rule, regulate and generally lord it over Amerika and all of mankind.

Thank you for sharing. May the Good Lord keep and protect you and yours.

17. Malicious interference with an election should be treated as treason.
And it should have all of the penalties of treason attach. Life in prison, or death.

The prize is so big (the US government, which includes the effective rulership of the world) that these bastards will do anything they need to, in order to win it. We need to make it clear that the prize isn't worth the risk.
