CIA Warned in 2002 That An Iraq Invasion Would Damage War on Terror

(Michael Schuyer): It was a nightmare...Tenant was briefed...that any invasion of Iraq would break the back of our counterterrorism program.

But what did Bush do with this information? He green-lighted the war on Iraq, who posed no threat, who didn't have a thing to do with terrorism, who was thoroughly contained, who had absolutely no WMDs. Bush doesn't give a flying hippo dung about the war on terror. He ruined it, and now our country is less safe.

Even as they saw Bush pulling soldiers off the battlefield in Afghanistan in order to prepare for Iraq, CIA knew the war in Iraq would kill the war on terror. And still, to this day, Bush continues to claim an Iraq-Terrorism link.

It is time for truth to prevail. It is time for justice.
