Where was WOODWARD in the run up to this 'crisis'/'denial?
Enabling this regime?..I'm sorry and while I appreciate this book for its political clout...he and a ship load of other so called journalists or experts are partially responsible in my opinion...Not Once have I ever believed a word from this administration...even after 911 I knew and discussed with my friends how they would turn 911 into an opportunity for their agenda...and I'm not that smart or politically savvy...so if I knew, and almost everyone I know knew...I just cant forgive these people coming forward now...i'm having a hard time forgiving anyone who claims they were duped or believed one word from their phony smirking mouths...we are in crisis,Mr Woodward, because of people like you...your silence and/or enabling was deafening and it broke my heart... it may just be too late to get us and the world out of it...

1. I give Woodward no credit here...
You didn't mention Woodward's knowledge of events in the Karl Rove/Valerie Plame incident that Woodward conveniently sat on for months.

I get the impression that he loves his Larry King interviews and he's dying to extend his fifteen minutes of fame.

3. good point..but why?..dont think that was the ultimate plan...do you?
gain trust and then let them have it..of course only woodward knows but.. his observations about * being intellectually incurious or rummy a bully could not be new observations..just newly reported observations...did the man grow a conscience?
