I'm pretty sure we can match quite a few repukes to each sin if we try hard enough...
The generally accepted deadly sins are superbia (hubris/pride), avaritia (avarice/greed), luxuria (extravagance, later lust), invidia (envy), gula (gluttony), ira (wrath), and acedia (sloth). (Wikipedia)...

I'll start:
Greed...The Dukester
Lust...Mark Foley
Gluttony...Dennis Hastert (has anyone else noticed he's starting to look like a pig?)
Wrath...George "The Decider" Bush
Pride...The entire Republican party

Sloth and envy anyone??

Envy - seems there's a lot of envy in the GOP. They envy Clinton's success, his popularity, his brilliance. How can they not be envious wen all they've got to show for themselves is Chucklenuts?

2. Envy = Rumsfield

...who won't accept any advice from anyone because they "might" be right. Envy in this case means that IMO he is so full of envy he cannot even bring himself to listen to someone else because he would be writhing is self hatred as well as hatred of the other person.
