1. Only one "friend?" Pathetic, indeed. And even more pathetic is the idea
of a 52-year-old guy with a myspace page.

That's a young people's game, is myspace.

10. Not really...
A lot of my fellow authors have myspace pages, including myself. I also found both my foster sisters on myspace.

If part of your job requires self-promotion, myspace has its uses.

11. You did? Then I retract my statement. If you don't mind, I'd be happy to
hear your foster-sister story if you have the time to PM it to me.

It sounds fascinating.

14. OK, I'll accept that, but your page blinks too much. Damn near gave me

a siezure. However, my statement about myspace being only for kids does indeed seem to be incorrect.

Consider me corrected.

15. MySpace is a web page for all ages.
Edited on Sun Oct-01-06 09:04 PM by Chipper Chat
MySpace is much-misunderstood by the general public. It is a great venue for musicians to advertise their concerts and upload their music for millions to hear. MySpace members include Jerry Lee Lewis, the Ink Spots, Fats Waller, Ethel Merman, Buddy Holly, Morrissey, Ella Fitzgerald, the Zombies, the Cleftones, many 50s doo-wop groups, and even some folk & jazz musicians in their 80s & 90s!
The notoriety always comes from teen users (someone who misrepresented their age and were being stalked by a predator, etc).

17. The well-known televangelist Jesse Duplantis has one.
I discovered it just today when I was wondering about a flight I heard on Tulsa Approach Control
coming in from Hammond, Louisiana...tracked the plane's tail number and it indicated it (a 25 million
dollar Fanjet Falcon - 3 engine jet) belonged to him, I googled the name and found a link to the myspace entry. Just thought it was...interesting. :puke:

2. To be fair, what's pathetic about that?
I don't get it. The fact that he has a Myspace? All age groups are on Myspace, my grandparents are on there for instance.

4. That might very well be him.
http://www.vote-smart.org/bio.php?can_id=CNIP8121

Birthdate is September 8, 1954. That would make him a Virgo.

Irony of ironies, he is Roman Catholic. Just what Catholics need, another pedophile scandal. x(

6. MySpace, their space, is this for lonely people?
Why do people advertise themselves, or have the need to parade? The less people know the happier I am. I even stopped the junk mail. Yes I did. Check the mail once a week now. Keeps me under the radar yes it does. Pays my bills with money orders. I took the mirrors out too, don't want to expose myself to myself.

16. It's been scrubbed
Probably about the time Hastert and the rest of the GOP leadership found out for sure and told him to stop preying on Congressional pages and stick to working boys on the street.

He tried to cover his tracks, but like all predators, he just couldn't stop.

I just wonder what his quick resignation is trying to cover up.

They should remove this sicko's profile.
