Listening to the "round table" (another conceit)
and thinking about how very irrelevant Stephanopolous, Russert, and their Sunday morning talk shows are becoming with their refusal to investigate so that they could effectively challenge the politician's statements and allegations.

You used to hope that they would find out something that the interviewee didn't want known. That just doesn't happen any more. Fact is, given a list of topics they hope to cover, I could probably write a synopsis of what will be said. Heck, I could probably come close to a list of topics they plan to cover. So why watch?

1. All these shows have become is a propaganda outlet for the regime
Pravda would be proud of the American media propaganda success.

2. I do not watch regularly anymore
If I see some guest like Condi or a retread like McCain or Biden on, I just sleep in. It depends, sometimes I am interested in just hearing what somebody says, knowing it probably will be bullshit. Like if somebody is going to be on MTP who I never seen before or very often I will check it out.

The roundtables are worthless, I usually read news etc when those are on. I barely pay attention. Sometimes they can be entertaining, but the information is worthless. My brother and I have better conversations about politics than those roundtables do, you know? :)
