2. Not unless the Republican party self-destructs.
Also, Baghdad is on total lock down for the weekend - something about a foiled bomb plot on the Green Zone.

Great place to visit but I sure wouldn't want to live there.

4. This is the only figure for Iraqi dead that I can find
Edited on Sat Sep-30-06 09:27 AM by leftyladyfrommo
It is from antiwar.com. But if you count all the Iraqis that died because of our sanctions against Iraq the number would be huge.

Iraqi dead for September is showing at 1550.

5. Let's hear it for the dead!
You clearly aren't mourning them -- are you cheering for them?

Your morbid death counts continue to be inappropriate.

6. I guess we could just forget them - like most people do.
Out of site, out of mind.

If you want true memorials to these dead - put them out there. I'm sure people would be glad to read them. I don't have that capacity because I use a library computer.

7. How about a fitting tribute, instead?
It's been done on the DU several times.

You get no accolades for trying to politicize the death of heroes and the grief of those left behind.
