Guess who Foley's spokesman/defender used to work for?
Foley's spokesman, Jason Kello, said, "It's character assassination. The e-mails in question were a response to a handwritten thank you letter from a former page. There have not been any allegations made by anyone except Tim Mahoney and the Democrats who are attempting to misrepresent a series of innocent communications to prop up a falling political campaign."

Well, well, well. Guess who Kello worked for before coming to Foley's office? That's right! George Allen! Kello was Allen's speech writer until late 2004, according to this article.

This whole thing just gets slimier by the minute.

when they talk about family values they mean family values.

How much can we get for granny's liver?

How many votes can brother jeb steal?

How many properly placed thermite incidiaries can neil's security company place in two weekends of power downs in the world trade centers?

How many votes can jeb steal again?

How much do we have in the queen's bank between all of us?

where the hell can we hide?

4. Yes. Poor Mark Foley. He was waterboarded by Democrats until...
...he finally agreed to solicit minors for sex.

8. Amazing, isn't it?
Somehow, they are going to say we took all that out of context, aren't they?

My message to Kello-

Hey Kello, he resigned. He did not stay and fight the fight, he rolled over like a whimpering ball of blubber. Why did he do that? Because he is guilty and he knows it. Resigning was probagbly the only smart thing he did in this whole mess. Why? Because he thought it would make it all go away. But guess what? It won't. We won't let it go away. If he resigned over a few emails, what else might be lurking out there under the surface, just waiting to jump out? Go ahead, try to defend Mark "Jacking It" Foley. I dare you.

11. Defenders of pedophilia risk having the spotlight shined on them.
My guess is that this particular form of rot runs deep in Washington, D.C.

9. When you said "defender" I thought you might be
talking about DU. Seems to be quite a few people on here who think this isn't such a bad thing. They read the IM transcript and claim that there is much worse on the internet. I guess the fact that there are e-mails out there described as too graphic to print and the fact that the guy resigned means nothing. I'm really getting tired of this place, maybe it's time for a break...

10. Anyone who would minimize predatory behavior against minors...
...is seriously disordered. I can only guess that defenders of pedophilia--in any form--wish to rationalize their own behavior or desires. Pedophiles are literally everywhere. Sadly, I doubt that DU is exempt.
