Outrageous!!!! This is the real reason for this law.....
At the same time, the bill immunizes U.S. officials from prosecution for cruel, inhumane or degrading treatment of detainees who the military and the CIA captured before the end of last year...

http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2006/09/28/AR2006092801763_pf.html

Remember the Abu Ghraib tapes we never seen that Seymour Hersch described? The ones where Iraqi boys were being sodomized, screams, shrills and the like, all caught on tape?

They have covered their criminal ass with this law. Absolutely disgusting. This administration is THE MOST CRIMINAL administration in the nation's history, bar none.

1. I keep wondering....
Why the Dems didn't fight hard enough?? Could it be that when they control congress and have hearings AND finally show the war crimes that Bush & Co. committed AND this law which covers their ass, then the outrage is even greater and the call for impeachment is even stronger?? hmmm....

5. the reality is. 6 years later we are still trying to prove 2000 was
stolen. to have expected kerry to stand up and say stolen, and 2 years later we still donthave proof is absurd
