Republicans Turn Their Backs on Finding Facts on Contaminated Water
Edited on Tue Jan-24-06 08:29 AM by The Whiskey Priest
Once again the Republican Party, Bush, Cheney and Rumesfeld demonstrate they are not interested in the finding the truth. They rather deny, spin and delay any facts that might indict a crony.

Two former Halliburton workers have charged that Halliburton supplied our kids in Iraq with contaminated water. The water which was contaminated 2 times more than the untreated water of the Euphrates River. The water was taken downstream from a waste disposal site, which means that it contained human fecal material.

The former workers were called to a Democratic hearing, because the Republicans refused to hold a hearing on the charges. No representative from Halliburton or any Republican attended the meeting.

The Republicans are not interested in truth; they would rather continue to feed the rest of the country the same crap they feed our boys in Iraq. The people of this country, left and right, should be weary of the crap sandwich that the Republicans are feeding us.

1. Damn repukes....
They are probably making too much money off the contaminated water to be concerned. Don't want to shut off the spigot on profits.

2. I posted this elsewhere.
The "troops" that post there, don't believe Halliburton would do this.

Talk about drinking the Kool-aid.

7. Oh, those same people who were so outraged then
cannot be troubled now. They are curiously complacent about this are they not?

4. Of course!
As long as it's not a blow job involving a Dem, the Republicans find it real easy to look the other way.

5. The party is run by vile, heartless assholes.
They don't give a damn about anyone but themselves.

they care a lot about money.

11. Every day brings a new horror.
Trouble is, each day's new horror seems to drown out all the previous horrors. Like the way the Pentagon database (Quakers, PETA) was swept away by the illegal wiretapping.

It's amazing to look through the national section of my local newspaper (Columbus Dispatch) each day and to observe how many of the articles are about: (1) Republicans suspected of wrongdoing; (2) Republicans defending each other's wrongdoing; or (3) Republicans about to be indicted for wrongdoing. I mean article after article after article.

I thought the chimp was going to bring some kind of "new tone" to the White House. Is this it?
