Ashamed to look? Ashamed to admit it? The television is not a mirror, the people you see on it's reflective surface are not the problem, to see the problem warts and all, look into the nearest mirror.

Who do you see? What do you see? Would that it were a mirror into your future, and your children's future, so that you could see yourself in ten years, and see your children in twenty years. But the mirror has no magical qualities other than showing you who the real problem is.

Identify the problem, and do something about it. Don't be like bush and try to blame it all on others, take it like a man, take it like a woman, face the truth, the problem is you and me, look in the god damned mirror, now.

You are so right on about this. And once we've looked in the mirror, we need to clean house within the party. It's past time. We started by getting Dean to DNC Chair, haven't finished the job. We need to get fresh faces in to positions of power. As long as we support those who are there to serve themselves and not the people, we continue to spiral down as a nation.
