Because the bible is what the evangelicals are using to justify themselves.And you ARE aware it is the same bible all christians use?
Until liberal Christians understand the bible is two sided and it is a hateful book sometimes and it IS a mixed message and it can be interpreted as the evangelicals do it,and still be'correct'theologically..Christianity itself has a problem.

IS Written TO liberal Christians,a plea to liberal christians to DEFEND the targets of the right,the GBLT,the Non believers etc..

5. No, it's meant to make you think.

To make you question WHY is the bible interpreted two ways,why do Evangelicals see the same bible you believe in the way they do,how is it Possible?

It is in the MESSAGE itself. I want more liberal Christians to see the fire and brimstone the original sin in their bibles and to think,and ask,is this a god of love? Or not?
Because the evangelicals they don't flinch,they see gods wrath,liberal christians pretend it's not there.

And that is part of the problem.
