Team Bush rewards Daniel Pearl's killers with F-16s
Reversing an embargo, Bush is providing Pakistan with F-16s

Bush and the GOP are taking steps to bring some of our most advanced weapons within reach of the Taliban, rewarding the killers of Daniel Pearl:

Bush the sale of F-16 fighter jets to Pakistan ... Pakistan initially wants to buy about two dozen aircraft, but Bush administration officials said there would be no limits on how many it could eventually purchase ... reversed 15 years of policy begun under his father. ... Former senator Larry Pressler (R-S.D.), who sponsored the 1985 law that ultimately forced the cancellation of the original F-16 sale, called Friday's decision "an atrocity" that goes against "everything the Bush administration has stood for."- WaPo, 3/25/05

This is more appeasement by Bush. Does Osama bin Laden really pull the strings in the White House, or maybe it's just Prince Bandar on behalf of bin Laden?

3. Could be...
I would have posted the one with the two of them sucking face, but it makes even me physically ill, and I have a pretty strong stomach.

7. LOL
Dobson's head would be spinning... if he wasn't lining up to drop to his knees, too.

5. Kind of a tangent but who says F-16s are our most advanced weapons?
F-16 went into production in 1974 and are no longer produced for the the US Air Force. They are produced for export only now.

Perhaps we can sell them some flint-lock rifles, Gatling guns and bayonets to complete their collection.

6. That is true, but
It's still better than what many other countries out there have.

8. Isn't that like blaming the city of Dallas for killing JFK?
I mean, Pakistan did actually arrest, and hand over for torture, at least one of the killers of Pearl.

9. Not quite
If JFK was investigating a connection between (say) the mayor of Dallas and the Bay of Pigs fiasco when he was killed...

and the killers that were caught had connections to the chief of police recently appointed by the mayor... and then the killers were quietly later released.
