So- is this sort of imagery still "ridiculous" and "loony"?

Just curious, since the fellow in question is now publicly pushing for secret prisons, torture, and unlimited domestic spying without oversight.

2. Almost makes you believe in reincarnation.
Hitler died April 30, 1945. Bush was born July 6, 1946. It could have taken Hitler that long to find another body devoid of a soul to inhabit for himself.

3. It's not loony when Republicans compare us to Nazis.
We do this every time; we listened to the right-wing media when it attacked us for calling them "fascists". So we "toned it down" because calling them fascist wasn't an "accurate" description of their tactics. But now, they're using the "Nazi" and "fascist" label on us, and there's no outrage in the MSM. We can't keep second-guessing ourselves and drinking the leftover Kool-Aid.

4. It wasn't loony then, its not loony now. They are using the same
playbook. I'm reading a book right now on the rise of Nazism in Germany, pre war. Its so horrible to realize the similarities. The only thing we (USA) don't have that Germany had at the time was a very bad economy. The Bush Crime Family has been taking care of that since day one. He's not stupid, he just plays one on TV. Everything is going according to the plan. Why else would be screw up on the Iraq war? We knew how to do things right, but the cabal wouldn't let them. Katrina, Enron, its all gone just the way they wanted it to. Thats why Rumsfeld still has a job. How can you fire someone who's done everything "right?"

5. "Very bad economy"
might not be accurate, but the economy's bad enough. Good for rich folk is not "trickling down" for me. Sorry.
