You know how Bush always says he, "Can't discuss interrogation methods...
...because then the enemy will be able to adapt to our methods"?

Think about that.

We all know that thousands of "detainees" have been rounded up and sent to Guantanamo and Secret CIA facilities around the world, right?

We all know that many of them have been "interrogated". (tortured?)

And....we all know that MANY of them have been released:

All those detainees have surely been interviewed/debriefed by their countrymen - and who doubts that the methods they endured while in U.S. custody aren't widely discussed amongst our "terrorist network" enemies?

So that means that the ONLY people that don't know what these "interrogation methods" entail is the American People!!! (and everyone else outside of the terrorist networks).

So, Bush, don't give us this load of shit that our enemies don't know what your methods are. THEY KNOW. The only people you are trying to keep this a secret from is the ENTIRE WESTERN WORLD!!!

1. good point, not to mention...
if he really wants 'torture' defined by law, then that is contradictory to the statement that he can't release torture methods. In order to have these methods approved, he has to make sure they aren't part of the 'definition' of torture.

3. My ? to Bush: What's the point of defining "torture" if he keeps what they
do to detainees a secret?

The law is useless if you don't have anything to test it against. The man is insane.

2. Can you say Abu Ghraib? People know, they didn't care,
but I think they're caring a bit more now. They see the
man without a reason for what's going on, and the bloodshed
doesn't matter.

4. The infuriating thing is that Matt Lauer, for example, has access to...
...the same information--and, probably, even more--but he would never say as much to B*sh or ask him to defend his ridiculous assertions.
