Bush ANGRY as David Gregory makes too much sense. Video here -
This is by far the pissiest press conference Bush has given. He’s furious. I assume his feet are manacled behind the microphone. Otherwise, he’d be stalking across the stage, tearing apart the podium, and occasionally leaping into the crowd to rip out David Gregory’s heart…read on .......

3. B*** is such a PRICK. You know David Gregory is about the coolest
individual I have ever seen in journalism. He is nice, professional, not to mention GORGEOUS, and sometimes you can see he'd just LOVE to get this president. FEW in the press have the natural ability he has to stay calm, to laugh, to enjoy himself, even make fun of himself....

And few have the balls to ask the hard questions he asks. It's clear we need MORE AND MORE MEN like David.

David knows the truth. And Bu** knows David knows the truth.

It's inspiring to watch.

35. saw that.....what a dick
he was incomplete denial on that show...could not believe the extent he was covering MSM's collective ass

these millionaire 'journalists' are exactly why we're where we are today

he asks the occasional 'tough' question, but always backs down, always APOLOGIZES, one way or the other (remember the Scotty episode?). RW 'journos' never apologize, just pile the latest lie on top of the last

the real journalists are ones whose names almost all americans don't know

10. He said nothing that made any sense
He didn't answer any questions. No matter what was asked of him, he responded with a string of big words that sounded reasonable until you really listen. Powell said the world would question our moral authority, Bush today responded that it was unacceptable to compare the good and decent American people to radical Islamic fundamentalists. WTF? What did that have to do with Powells statement?

All his responses were idiotic in the context of the questions the reporters asked. Lunatic. Moran.

12. he'll have someone else in the admin translate for him Sunday morn
on the talk shows. But what he was saying is:

1. It's okay for any country to define torture as "they" see fit. Hence, there is no international definition of torture, hence the Geneva convention article 3 is meaningless.

2. "it won't go forward." What? The war on terror? Interrogation of terrorists? "Play by my rules or I'll let you all fry at the hands at the terrorists...the worst people ever." (Sounds more like a mafia boss, than a president.) "I am contemptous of the press AND the people of the US. You don't need to know why, I'm the decider,do what I say or I"ll let you all burn.

Who's pushing this? Cheney? Rumsfeld? What the hell is going on?

Maybe it really is fear of prosecution for war crimes.

One more question about his actions I can't understand. I still don't know why he went to war in Iraq. I also have no idea why he has let Rumsfeld lose this war. Now, I can't figure out why he's pushing to authorize torture.

14. The crazy monkey is an ignorant coward.
After realizing he made a mistake telling Gregory how beautiful he twirled, the little turd from Crawford didn't answer the reporter's question because he couldn't understand it.

"Why would ya keep askin' me about et when I dun' answered et? Stupid." resident Dipwad said.

If he wasn't born to the chief screw of America's gestapo, he would never have been hired for any job -- he's unqualified for anything.

Thanks for posting the link, gully. If I hadn't seen it with my own eyes, I wouldn't believe it because his behavior is so much lower than last time Sneer Tinheart let him out of the monkey house.

David Gregory, and Keith Oberman are just pawns in the game of distraction, they want us to look at these reporters while they steal the next election with their secret vote counting maxhines.

I hope I'm wrong, but to date noone ON TV has mentioned the SECRET VOTE COUNTING MACHINES, or the fact that the voters can NOT watch the votes being counted

29. Glad you mentioned that
I believe he used the word "beautiful" as in 'you sure look beautiful today' give or take.

Just feel the man-love! Not only was it inappropriate, but following on his very nervous, disingenuous (yeah I'll use the word, the Repugs started it) laughter, and his very-not-funny-barbs at Gregory's getting tangled up as he rose to ask his question, that comment was obviously an attempt to distract from the topic and try to put Gregory off-guard. It didn't work.

When's the last time one of your heterosexual friends told another guy they looked "beautiful." He must miss Jeff G something fierce.

Un-presidential. Is that a word?

Bush prefers our pretty boy to his pretty boy

OTTAWA -- This is the tale of the two Scotts -- one American, the other Canadian. One is dark-haired, the other blond. Both are 35 and both work for the most powerful men in their respective countries.

SNIP:

"Well, what do you do for this guy?" the President asked as he pointed to the Prime Minister.

"Well, you know, sir, I can't really say," Mr. Reid said. "It's not that I don't want to. It's just that, you know, I don't really know from day to day."

This is true. Mr. Reid handles a number of files and performs a number of different duties, depending on the issue and the day.

The President chuckled. "Well, you got a pretty face," he told the surprised Mr. Reid. He wasn't done. "You got a pretty face," he said again. "You're a good-looking guy. Better looking than my Scott anyway."

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

OK I JUST FOUND ONE LINK TO THE STORY..BUT YOU HAVE TO BUY IT NOW..I HAD FULL COPY IN MY FILES..IF ANYONE NEEDS IT..PM ME..

36. Question was not answered
Bush merely restated his position - he is right - if congress does not pass this legislation the program will not go forward! He was so adament that he said it SIX times!

The initial question asked was what was his opinion on when other countries redefined their concept of Geneva Conventions. Bush answered as long as they use a definition that is identical to ours. He could not conceive that other countries would do something different than what he has decided he wants.

Yes, he appeared to be angered by questioning of his choice/opinion. He is right and there will be no discussion! He is demonstrating that he is indeed and in word a dictator.

It is surprising that he allows a press conference because he doesn't want to entertain any questions.

David Gregory is personality-wise, everything Dear Leader WISHES he was, but instead he ended up spoiled, addicted and embittered by his father and YOUNGER brother having more promise than himself. Now he's pushing their faces (and ours) in the fact the HE IS RIGHT, HE IS EMPEROR.

45. here's the deal imo
if a person watches the crooks and liars episodes of any bush press conf, then the little prick is losing it.
But, our wonderful liberal news media picks only 15-30 sec soundbites which "show" bush as forceful, and pissy, but justified in this to freepers and fox viewrs... and the casual watchers of the tv news. This is our problem... perception managed by the "liberal media".

Seen in 15 sec soundbites as most americans besides us few (relatively speaking internet/olberman/daily show watchers, bush comes off as not nearly as deranged as we think he is (who see more of the whole picture).
I wish this wasnt so, but has been imo since the begining of the bush era.

Hopefully more regular viewers will start watching more then the 15 sec soundbites.
