Wow-Iraq Bloodshed Made Headline on CBS News
Edited on Wed Sep-13-06 09:23 AM by leftyladyfrommo
This is really unusual - but it was too horrible to ignore
http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2003/02/24/iraq/main541815.shtml

65 tortured bodies found overnite - tortured, killed and dumped

And 30 other people killed in other violence - roadside bombs, shootings, etc.

Recent military crackdown far from a success.

And our "number" is now up to 2672

Wounded not updated yet - 19,145

Afghanistan - 333

2. I think the deathsquads are certainly more secure.
And did you see where the president of Iraq was talking to the president of Iran about security? This adm. must really love that.

4. I know - Iraq Is a Headliner - That is a miracle.
I wish the news people would simply have a certain amount of time everynite for an update on Iraq and Aghanistan.

5. great idea- it should be standard fare on all nightlynews broadcasts
CBS should hose their shitty "Free Speech" segment and use the time for the update, at the start of the show.
