"Convinced the EPA to add reassuring statements & delete cautionary ones"
There's been a lot of talk about the "path TO 9/11."

But let's talk for a minute about the path AFTER 9/11, that the Bush Administration took; specifically as it relates to the air quality after the attack in New York.

On September 18, 2001 the Environmental Protection Agency issued an air quality report, saying that the air around the Ground Zero area was "safe" to breathe.

However, an investigation by the EPA Inspector General, Nikki Tinsley, found that the EPA was pressured by the White House to make claims in its air quality report, that it did NOT have the information to back up.

In her report, Inspector Tinsley says that the Bush White House "convinced the EPA to add reassuring statements and delete cautionary ones." However, it "did not have sufficient data and analyses to make the statement."
