This has gone too far, they must all find themselves on notice.

Remember an article was passed that Cheney has ordered that if any terrorist act happens in the US that Iran is to be launched upon immediately, affectively holding that country hostage which would make us an ideal target for the 'Osama Bin Laden - Al Queda - Attack. Creating a logic chain that we should attack a group of muslim not friendly to Bin Laden's type generally just because of his being a different kind of Muslim. I don't understand why they have to argue so violently about a different interpretation f the book, but what the hell, I don't understand why it was the same case in Europe many years before.and there again, I don't understand it as really being such a good reason to fight, but hell, I don't see many reasons to start a fight over some stupid ideology when there are more important things like their history and how it could be properly handled. I don't' blame the want to stop that country, but at best they are 5 years away from being able to make a nuclear missile.

Besides, the best way to solve the problem is state, "Israel, you can't have any nukes and you have to start being peaceful with your neighbors and calm things down, you're a museum now, just live with it. Muslims, you nuke Israel we nuke Mecca. And anybody starts a nuclear war we all lose so let's just drop the threat level of these weapons because we don't need people to be walking dead again, it's a horror that shouldn't be visited so let's agree to keep these stupid things underground and not launch them because you can't win, anyone who launches will be hit back and nobody can win this stupid game! "

Sadly though, our leaders don't seem to understand (On a global level) That there is nobody who wins when a nuke is used as a weapon but the energy is something that we do need to develop so let's agree to put real international supervision on all of them to make sure they keep up to standards so we don't get another chernobyl, ever, ever, again.

But sadly we are still children with a new toy and might very well see what happens if we pull it out again. I pray that not happen for it would lead to a true horror. - Sadly things are not so rational in the greater world, people have not gotten to the point where they can stop fighting like children and start to work together.

The truly sad thing though? That this might potentially be avoided, but not with the players who are in charge. We have nothing to truly fear but fear itself. We are supposed to be America the Brave. Not America the Knave. We are supposed to be the Home of the Free. Not the home of the MP. This country was founded by Christians, true, but it was founded on the words, "We the people of the United States, in order to form a more perfect union, establish justice, insure domestic tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general welfare, and secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and our posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America." Not "We the ELITE who own these United States, in order to form a more perfect state, establish injustice, insure domestic passivity, provide for the common offense, promote the ruling welfare, and secure the blessings of The Lord God, Jesus and The Holy Spirit, to ourselves and our personal prosperity, do ordain and establish this Constitution of the Conformist States of Amerrika."!!!

People, I hate to be the one to break it to you, but the United states _IS_ Superman, The blue and the red with the gold to show there are others, working together. Our Country has been exposed to the proverbial Red Kryptonite and this must be remedied before these crimes may continue! It has gone too far and WE THE PEOPLE Must stand united again and in one voice say that it has gotten out of control and we're not going to let them tell us what to do. That we will vote in the 90% and the 95% of eligible voters, not near 50%! We need to tell the government in one united voice that WE HAVE AN OPINION!!! Listen to our opinion or we will remove you from office, we weill recall your butt. It is time that we demand our rights as citizens of what should be the strongest nation in the world, not because we are safe, but because we are truly strong.

America has the kind of strength that doesn't require a bully. We have the kind of strength because we have the ability to live free and take a bruise without charging after the nearest bully who didn't hit you after you got a rock thrown in the back of your head! America's strength doesn't come from it's raw muscles, it comes from it's diversity and unity. It comes from all the people together, not a few elite telling everyone what to do. America is her greatest when she is the home of the free _and_ the land of the brave, working together to accomplish the amazing things she can. Leading by example, showing the other people of the world what freedom really is all about. When some little guy who hits us for what is really the equivalent of David throwing a rock at Goliath we have a choice if we will fall down to his level or stand tall, take his slingshot and turn him over our knees to spank him and not crush half the audience in the process.

The fact that the predictions have gotten this close to the edge demands that this must be said, now is the time for peace to begin in our country, we must unite to work together as one nation again, a great nation that inspires awe in all people. A transparent nation that is viewed by the world as a utopia to live in that cares about it's neighbors but does not impose upon them but rather works with them to improve their conditions and therefor the whole neighborhood. We should try being a good neighbor, after all, doesn't the saying go, "You catch more bees with honey than vinegar?"

4. There are many people holding them accountable--little by little--and
lots is going on underground. Yet I feel these efforts are too little (bless them--conyers, ACLU, gore, kerry edwards, countless small groups, those working against Alito, etc etc).
Our adm. thinks they can instill democracy at will (at the end of gun barrel most often)and use our military at their will for their own purposes. For several months now it seems like the volcano is going to erupt. The volcano is the the people--doing the little things--some big things--like Reid shutting down the Senate (which is off the radar now)--trying to put some sanity back into US policies. So far we have had a few little quakes--some rumblings--i.e--dsm hearings, conyors hearings on evesdroppings, Waxman's reports--We need to erupt. this will happen someday--I can only hope that happens soon.

6. Sorry I hadn't given you much to reply to.
I thought the OP would want to at least fix their headline typo before time ran out.
But their reply was so full of typos (maybe on purpose?) that it made me laugh.

I feel that a groundswell of outrage and protests from "We the People", plus Congressional Dems, Constitutional experts, etc. can have great impact. I feel that if we predict failure, that failure is more likely to occur. Everyone is a participant; there are no observers. Trying to stay optimistic...

Thank god for Conyers, Gore, Edwards, Risen, etc. We're sure in need of heroes now; and what each of us does *matters*.
