5. I kind of figured it would be a slow steady rain, so I fertilized my
entire yard. Not much run-off for the first major rain of the season. At this level, it's getting absorbed in the soil.

2. Ernesto is no longer a tropical storm
it is a tropical depression - basically a rain storm with a name...I'm on the Space Coast some rain barely windy...no deal at all....

3. Good. According to the weather channel
Before Ernesto made landfall they were expecting it to strengthen to hurricane. They were also saying the rain will be beneficial since it's been such a dry year in many places. Northeast has been getting all the rain. I'm hoping you get enough (but not too much) rain.

Did you hear about Super Typhoon Ioke (Cat 5) out near Wake Island? They're expecting Wake Island to be submerged. Luckily they got everyone off the island already.

7. This is the most boring weather day...thankfully
I've had more fun filing my nails. At least I don't have to go water my plants tomorrow.

8. Lucky for you
I get to play with this mess after he goes over warm water early tomorrow am. I'm in SC but 20 miles inland.

However, I did get my new roof yesterday. Man, talk about timing. At least the back bedroom won't leak.

10. I'll keep my fingers crossed
A couple of forecasters today didn't think it would amount to much even after going over the water.
