NH Governor criticizes UNH Professor for 9/11 theories.

"University of New Hampshire administrators are standing behind a tenured professor who has publicly theorized that the U.S. government orchestrated the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks, even as Gov. John Lynch condemned his remarks."

Sounds like the Gov is covering the bu$h administration's ass.

1. Well, he is a Democrat who went to UNH
He's probably worried that the school could lose federal funding. BushCo is awfully vindictive in that fashion.

2. John Lynch is a great Democratic Governor
There are plenty of people here who also condemn 9/11 theories involving the gov't. That's why threads like this get burried in the 9/11 dungeon...

4. Just wondering... If more and more people are looking at
9/11 and questioning what happened and how it happened... does that make most of America stupid? I don't think so? I think it is our duty to ask questions and not believe everything they would have us conveniently believe. I think all the people who are so against every ounce of investigation into 9/11 ought to be rounded up swear off their rights as citizens of the united states because you are certainly not upholding your end in defending the constitution.

6. I agree, as would John Lynch
But asking questions isn't what the UNH professor is doing. He should be saying there is enough evidence that warrants another investigation, not that the Bush Administration was involved in the plot.

7. And say that investigation does lead to implications of our govt
involment... A question to ask is why not allow another investigation with engineers and scientists outside of govt officials? Why not quell the suspicion? It doesn't make any sense to me.

3. That makes writing out my student loan check to UNH a little
easier to swallow. Wonder if this will get any play in the MSM.

5. Tenure means never having to say you're sorry . . .

And is basically a good thing, allowing genuine independence in a University setting, which is critical to Democracy.

Myself, I don't buy the theories that the government orchestrated 9/11 (for one thing, that presumes they can "orchestrate" anything, which I also doubt) -- but I don't mind the question being raised.
