Ah, Timmeh's show was a joy this weekend

During the roundtable, Novakula and Snaggletooth (O'Bierne) looked like they were about to eat their Lugars. The gun Lugar, not the Senator. Timmeh was asking what was going to happen in November. Both said the house is going Dem without some dramatic change in Iraq, and they said the Senate is going to be very, very close. They were not happy campers, and both were trying to claim they were against the war from the start. Yeah, I remember all those NRO editorials about what a stupid idea it was. Why Jonah Goldberg was a positive hippie peacefreak.

God I hate repukes. They lie just for the fun of it. They're so arrogant they assume no one will ever call them on it, and when you do, they start screaming "angry democrat, angry democrat." Yeah, angry is one way to describe me. Vengeful is a more accurate way, though. I just can't seem to warm up to lying nazis.

3. I just hope that when we DO win

We shut down every lobbying firm in DC that even employs a Repuke receptionist. Shut them out completely, refuse to meet with them, refuse to even return a phone call. Make them find real work.

And hiring a desperation Democrat two months ago is not enough.

6. GOP sleight of hand

They're going to use this one til November. Snaggletooth said that the Clintonistas were all behind this war. If memory serves, they were behind clobbering the Taliban and getting bin Laden, not attacking Iraq. Which was my position at the time. Sandy Berger and Allbright were all gung-ho on Afghanistan, IIRC, but I don't remember ANYONE backing the war except Hillary. Which is why they think the people will swallow that lie.
