Have we hit the bottom of the barrel. Re: the media?
I mean, we've had the media sliding down hill for years now, with plenty of people saying "oh, it can't get any worse than this." And it invariably does. But there's no such thing as a bottomless pit. And we're going to hit bottom sooner or later. Which makes me wonder, can it possibly get any worse than it is now?

I mean, we could dig up the mummified corpse of Joseph Goebbels, attach marionette strings to his desiccated limbs and have him dance around in front of news cameras with recorded Hitler speeches and Oompah music playing in the background. But would that really be any worse than Bill O'Reilly is now?

I mean, we could dig up the scripts from Johnny Carson's editorializing Floyd R. Turbo character and have it read by some deadpan guy who actually believes it and, worse, has no sense of comedic timing. But would that really be any worse than Glenn Beck is now?

I mean, we could give an anchor desk to Michael Jackson who reports the latest in the swim and sleep wear fashion of 5 to 10 year old boys in his Captain EO uniform. But would that really be any worse than Nancy Grace is now?

Honestly, I could think of how they could do a worse job.

1. Yes it can still get worse. I know it's hard to believe, but so far they

2. I don't know. The bottom seems so close its hard to imagine
how it can stay on the upside of hell much longer.

3. The bottom has rotted out. We're down in the mire now with all
the depleted uranium dust and leeched petroleum. There is no life there.

5. Don't you sometimes wish
that the Dems or Indies had enough money to buy out the entire media systems, and tell them-you will now work for us!
