Iran says forget about dropping nuke program. Now what?
Okay, we know the drill from the last time, demand that a nation surrender it's weapons of mass destruction or face sanctions, or worse, a pre-emptive attack and invasion and statue toppling, followed by total destruction and occupation and rebuilding by Halliburton.

Forget that North Korea is doing exactly the same, no one is demanding that they cease and desist with nukes, and they actually have them already.

Now what W? The world is waiting for your wise decision.

1. Why does this have to be our problem?
The Europeans said they'd handle Iran and set up those multinational talks. They told Bush to stay out of it and they'd negotiate a deal where Iran would not become a nuclear threat. So let them. We don't have to be involved with everything.

2. Are they sitting on any of our oil?
Or are they a threat to our oil supply? I bet if they just give up the oil peacefully we'll promise not to blow the fuck out of them.

3. I've been "Googling" for 15 minutes......
in an attempt to find an article I have read about Iran's sensible response to the world's fear of their use of uranium.Part of Iran's response was that they would One: allow permanent inspectors in the country from IAEA, Two: allow a consortium of European inspectors and Three: allow the amount of yellow cake to be limited. Has anyone else read of these three proposals? I just don't get it. Why is it so unreasonable for Iran to be able to enrich uranium for energy? And, frankly, I wouldn't blame them for wanting nuclear weapons considering Israel's cache of nuclear weapons. Doesn't Russia still have a bunch too?

*'s attempt to demonize Ahmadinejad has not gone well. Ahmadinejad sounded more rational to me on Mike Wallace than our war president does. IMHO
