| Newshour: Bush's over-simplification of ME dynamics is threat to US |
|
NIce.
When talking about whether or not failed states in the Middle East are a threat to US security, a professor from Columbia University (Khalil?) stated on the Lehrer Newshour that the root causes of Middle East unrest are complex and specific and that a foreign policy based on oversimplification and lack of understanding will end up, in the long run, with severe consequences for the US. He further said that the debate about Iraq should not be as shallow as whether or not troops should get out....
His counterpart did not agree with much of what he said, but also did not have kind words for the administration.
Overall, the both of them did not paint a pretty picture.

| 2. Oversimplification. Another word that should be used |

by dems repeatedly...along with idiot, incompetent, dream-world, blunder, disaster, mistakes, arrogance, corruption, irrational, dysfunctional decision-making, etc.
Really, these guys haven't made a good decision in 6 years and we are still having a hard time convincing the public that they are bad for america? They are simply not equipped to avoid trouble in the ME and this has to be said over and over. It really should be easy.
