4. Why bother......

This guy is about a 95% shoein for a false confession. So what will the media do then?

First, they'll hash out all the reasons people believed him. (Even tho' most people are reported to believe he's a quack)That's going to take at least a couple of days.

Then, they'll hash out what is wrong with this prosecutor and why haven't the police found the killer, followed up by the suggestion that we're not safe b/c of our poor police in the country. Combined with requisite quotes from reputable law enforcement and John McCain.

After about a week of this crap, more photos of the kid in her beauty queen get up, then they'll return to the parents and rehash, how come we can't make him guilty so we can sell more news.

Finally, there will be at least one segment on what locks you chould have on your house, what gun to buy, how to shoot it, and who you call at CNN when you shoot the wrong person.

Oh, and on a few of the off cable channels, there will be the ghost stories about JonBenet Ramsey and her mother Patsy...you know their reunion in Heaven etc., etc.

7. This whole episode is a huge embarrassment and

illustrates how tabloid the corporate whores have become. The guy is clearly a nutcase and the media knows it. Instead of pulling back and demonstrating some restraint, they're going unabashedly apeshit over this. And, when the guy isn't charged in the case, they'll be offering no apologies. Instead, they'll be doing and saying everything you've mentioned above.

And, sadly, they won't stop until after Larry King has some psychic on who claims he can communicate with JonBenet and Patsy. Guaranteed.
