And the other issue is that it is a hallmark of Republican foreign policy is to destroy sovereign nations and "rebuild" them, colonizing them in the process. They do it both directly and by proxy, and it's for the exclusive benefit of the stockholders of major corporations.

The good news is that all slimy, rotten things eventually collapse in on themselves, and the GOP will, too. I just hope it happens before they can take us all down with them.

No democrat should mention terrorism or spreading democracy as causes for Iraq or say it's too late to worry about causes. The public won't demand we pull out until someone is brave enough or rather uncorrupt enough to flatly and simply say Bush went into Iraq for his friends in the oil business and we are paying for the hostile takeover with our tax dollars and our soldiers are paying with their lives.
