I'm happy to know that my assets can be considered a loss and I could still survive and take care of a few other people. This ain't fun but it does separate the men from the boys(no intent toward sexism, just using a phraseology that is understood). Best advice is to learn how to take care of yourself when you can't rely on anyone or anything else.
